Another week gone by.

Last week I had a wonderful time at our "Dorinda" quilt retreat. If any of you have followed that blog, Deana has posted some pictures. It was great to get together and visit and sew. Virgil thought we were nuts, I am sure, but we fed him good, and he did not complain.
I have some more pictures to post, but can't get the program to work, so will do that later.
We went to our Trek meeting on Sunday evening and we have more miles and more kids to deal with than 4 years ago. One nice thing is that we have a paramedic who has recently moved into our stake who has been on 4 treks in the past and has some really good ideas. He will be a real asset to us. We have a dentist, 2 nurses and an EMT besides him, so we have a pretty good compliment of medical help.
We told the adults that the main rules were that they had to make sure the kids drink plenty of water and wear a hat. They have to be the water Nazis. Those kids get dehydrated and life is worse than having to go to the bathroom. That seems to be the main reason the girls don't want to drink, because there are not a lot of "rest stops". The Wyoming flat lands have sage brush and WIND, so it becomes a necessity to drink plenty of water.
This week is another crazy one. I have 2 meetings tonight, and Paul has 1. And they fall at the same time. Tomorrow night is the same, but Marian has tomorrow off, so she will be home with the kids. That helps.
I will try later to post the pictures, so until then--have a good week.
