It is January

It is sooo cold. Yesterday I ran a couple of errands and the thermometer in my car said it was 11 degrees. And that was around noon, so what was it when Paul went to work at 5:30? Probably close to 0.

For fun, our cousins and sisters quilting group is doing a mystery quilt. Each block has a rule, and the first one is to have at least 4 flying geese in a 12 inch block. We each have a theme for our quilt, and mine is "Autumn Country" We have a bunch of other ladies from all over the country who are joining us, and it is starting out to be really fun. Here is my first block.
Here is Hayden wearing my hat. I am glad I have it to keep the top of my head and my ears warm.
Hayden is now 22 months old. He is talking so well. They moved him into his "big boy bed" and he loves it. Jennie had Kelsey and Kylie come down and help her go through things and get the baby's room ready. 2 more months to due date.
The Washington kids have a snow day today. We don't have a lot of snow, but the mountains have a lot, and we love that for watershed.
I got a new lens for my camera (Paul gave it to me for Christmas), so I hope to have better pictures now.
Love to all, and don't freeze!
